Trust Neighborhoods, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, came out of intentional conversations with neighborhoods across the country. They developed the Mixed-Income Neighborhood Trust (MINT) model, aimed to address neighborhood pain points and assist residents who are facing or experiencing displacement. Trust Neighborhoods is composed of an entrepreneurial team focused on creating and iterating this model, and serves as immediate short-term talent to support existing neighborhood-based organizations in creating their own MINTs.

The team supports this mission through key skill areas such as housing financing, public policy, and corporate finance. Trust Neighborhood maintains high-level goals of addressing climate change, justice, and community development through the MINT model and preventing further housing displacement. These goals drive Trust Neighborhoods’ commitment of working with neighborhood organizations and residents, helping them control their own futures, and trusting neighborhoods.
