Nordic Steel systems has multiple foundation systems to build nearly any residential structure. Depending on a project’s size and location, their foundation system can replace a costly poured concrete foundation, allowing a builder to build in most locations with greater ease, versatility and cost savings. The foundations have the unique advantage of minimal excavation, decreasing the disruption of natural soil dynamics. This is significant because traditional, poured in place, concrete foundations are expensive, time-consuming and environmentally disadvantageous.

The foundations work by transferring structural loads from a beam through a structural pile, or post system which preserves the natural drainage patterns of the soil underneath it, minimizing hydraulic or seepage pressure upon the foundation. This reduces the environmental impact of a traditional, poured, permanent concrete foundation system.
